About
In August 2024 the creator Jools Lebron posted a short TikTok in which she calmly described how to behave at work: arriving to the office on time, looking presentable, and doing so in a way that was “very demure, very mindful”. The delivery, soft and exact, was the joke and the appeal.
Within days other creators were applying the phrase to everything from eating to parking, and by the end of the month businesses were using it in advertising. The speed of that adoption is part of the story: the phrase went from one video to a corporate slogan in about three weeks.
