About
In January 2025 a TikTok account posted the first video of Tralalero Tralala, a three-legged shark in sneakers, and a clip of a shark in shoes reached seven million views by 13 January. Others followed: Bombardiro Crocodilo, a crocodile-bomber hybrid, and Ballerina Cappuccina, a ballerina with a cappuccino for a head.
The creatures were generated with AI tools and narrated by synthetic voices speaking pseudo-Italian. In February 2025 a character called Tung Tung Tung Sahur joined, a wooden log with a baseball bat that originated in Indonesia. The craze peaked between March and June 2025 and spread to TikTok, Instagram and games.
